The 5th Edition of the EU-ASEAN BLUEBOOK was launched by the EU Ambassadors in ASEAN and the ASEAN Secretary General Dato Lim Jock Hoi in May.
THE publication which is one of the highlights of this year鈥檚 Europe Day celebrations (9th May 2020) in the region and contains the major areas of achievement in development cooperation between both blocs in the 鈥減ast year and beyond鈥. Apart from political, security and social-cultural cooperation, in economic terms in 2020 the EU and its member states remains the largest provider of Foreign Direct Investment to ASEAN; the EU is ASEAN鈥檚 second largest trading partner and ASEAN is the EU鈥檚 third largest trading partner outside Europe.
