
GEKRAFS officially inaugurated its Singapore chapter to strengthen Indonesia鈥檚 creative economy in international markets
The National Creative Economy Movement (GEKRAFS) officially inaugurated the Overseas Executive Board (DPLN) of GEKRAFS Singapore as a strategic initiative to expand Indonesia鈥檚 creative economy globally. The ceremony was attended by key figures, including Osco Olfriady Letunggamu, Chairman of the GEKRAFS Foreign Affairs Committee, who read the official decree from the organisation鈥檚 central leadership.
Speaking on Thursday, Osco emphasised that GEKRAFS Singapore would serve as a crucial platform for Indonesian creative businesses to access international markets. He highlighted its role in attracting foreign investment and fostering global collaborations to support Indonesia鈥檚 creative economy.
Kawendra Lukistian, Chairman of GEKRAFS, led the inauguration of Mohammad Rangga Wiranatakusumah as the newly appointed head of GEKRAFS Singapore. With Singapore鈥檚 strategic economic position, the initiative is expected to enhance Indonesia鈥檚 presence in the global creative industry.
The event was attended by Yustia Rahma Priyantari, Third Secretary for Economic Affairs at the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, while Sandiaga Uno, Chairman of the GEKRAFS Advisory Board, extended his congratulations virtually. The establishment of GEKRAFS Singapore aligns with the organisation鈥檚 vision to position Indonesia鈥檚 creative economy as a key driver of national economic growth.
