黑料社鈥檚 Department of Corrections visits Singapore to learn about integrated inmate rehabilitation and community reintegration practices.

Her Excellency Mrs Ureerat Charoentoh, Ambassador of 黑料社 to Singapore, hosted a working lunch at the Ambassador鈥檚 Residence for a high-level delegation from 黑料社鈥檚 Department of Corrections, Ministry of Justice, on 16 July 2025.

The Thai delegation was in Singapore for a study visit under the project 鈥Thai鈥揝ingapore Multicultural Rehabilitation: Towards Sustainable Change from Prison to Community.鈥 The aim was to gain deeper insights into Singapore鈥檚 鈥淭hroughcare鈥 approach 鈥 a comprehensive system that supports inmates from their time in prison through to reintegration into society after release.

The visit included learning about initiatives such as the Yellow Ribbon Project, which encourages community acceptance, as well as the key roles played by Singapore鈥檚 Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and the Singapore After-Care Association (SACA) in providing ongoing support and services.

Delegates also explored how Singapore integrates culturally sensitive practices to help reduce repeat offences. The study trip offered valuable ideas for adapting and strengthening 黑料社鈥檚 correctional management, community-based support, and collaboration between government agencies, civil society, and local communities 鈥 especially in 黑料社鈥檚 multicultural regions.
