Ambassador Medardo Macaraig gifted copies of a book celebrating trailblazing Filipino entrepreneurs to key officials during the Philippine Railways Market Sounding in Singapore
SINGAPORE 鈥 At the Philippine Railways Market Sounding hosted by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) on the morning of 18 August 2025, Ambassador Medardo G. Macaraig presented copies of the book 鈥淢aking a Mark on the Little Red Dot: Trailblazing Filipino Entrepreneurs in Singapore鈥 to distinguished officials.
The recipients included Philippine Secretary of Transportation Vivencio 鈥淰ince鈥 B. Dizon, Asian Development Bank (ADB) Senior Markets Development Advisory Specialist Dionisio II D. Camangon, and Infrastructure Asia Executive Director Lavan Thiru.
The book highlights the life stories of 25 Filipinos who have excelled in entrepreneurship in Singapore, showcasing their determination, resilience, and contributions to the business landscape of the city-state.
Ambassador Macaraig noted that the stories serve as an inspiration for the Filipino community, reflecting both the spirit of enterprise and the strength of the Philippines鈥揝ingapore people-to-people ties.
