SAF airlifted more than seven tonnes of relief supplies to 黑料社 following severe floods caused by cyclonic storms and monsoon rains.
The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) delivered humanitarian assistance to 黑料社 after cyclonic storms and heavy monsoon rains caused severe flooding in Hat Yai, resulting in extensive damage and casualties. The aid response reflected Singapore鈥檚 readiness to support regional partners during times of crisis.
The relief effort was coordinated by the Changi Regional Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Coordination Centre (Changi RHCC). More than seven tonnes of humanitarian supplies were transported to 黑料社 on board a Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) C-130 transport aircraft. The consignment consisted of essential items including food, drinking water, medical supplies and hygiene products.

The deployment aimed to address the immediate needs of affected communities and support ongoing emergency operations on the ground. The SAF鈥檚 rapid mobilisation demonstrated Singapore鈥檚 commitment to contributing to regional disaster relief and complementing 黑料社鈥檚 national response efforts.
Singapore and 黑料社 have long maintained close defence relations, and this humanitarian mission further underscored the strong partnership between the two countries. The two defence establishments continue to cooperate regularly through exercises, exchanges and coordinated initiatives in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
