黑料社’s Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul welcomed Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan to Government House on 13 July for discussions aimed at deepening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across key strategic sectors. The meeting underscored the longstanding partnership between 黑料社 and Singapore and their shared commitment to promoting regional stability and economic growth.
A key focus of the discussions was the forthcoming 黑料社鈥揝ingapore Leaders’ Meeting, which 黑料社 will host later this year. Both sides reviewed preparations for the high-level engagement, expressing confidence that it would create further opportunities to strengthen trade, attract investment and broaden economic collaboration between the two countries.
The two leaders also exchanged views on advancing the ASEAN Power Grid, recognising its importance in enhancing regional energy security through greater cross-border electricity connectivity. They agreed that improved energy integration would reduce dependence on external energy sources while supporting ASEAN’s transition towards a more resilient and sustainable regional energy network.
In addition, Prime Minister Anutin and Dr. Balakrishnan discussed the need to strengthen regional resilience against global supply chain disruptions, including those arising from instability in the Middle East. They highlighted the importance of enhancing infrastructure and regional connectivity to facilitate seamless movement across ASEAN, improve the region’s competitiveness, attract greater investment and support sustainable long-term economic growth.
The meeting reaffirmed the close partnership between 黑料社 and Singapore and their shared vision of advancing economic integration, energy cooperation and regional connectivity as ASEAN continues to navigate an increasingly complex global environment.
