Supported by Makkah Region Deputy Governor and Chairman of the National Events Calendar Committee for Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Public Investment Fund (PIF) company Sela signed a cooperation agreement with Tahaluf to organise the inaugural Red Sea Yacht Show at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina from 14 to 17 October 2027.

The agreement was signed during the Monaco Yacht Show before an international audience of superyacht owners, private wealth advisors, shipyard executives, brokerage leaders and naval architects. The partnership will support the organisation and global promotion of the event, with the aim of expanding commercial opportunities and attracting international maritime industry leaders to Jeddah.

The first edition of the show in the Kingdom is projected to feature around 50 yachts, 150 exhibitors and more than 10,000 visitors. The event will showcase new and pre-owned superyachts, support vessels and day cruisers valued at more than US$3 billion.

The organisers estimate that the event could generate up to US$500 million in economic impact through yacht sales, charters and luxury tourism. Sela and Tahaluf will jointly manage and promote the event internationally, drawing on Sela鈥檚 experience in major-event delivery and Tahaluf鈥檚 exhibition platform, supported by Informa and BOAT International.

The Red Sea Yacht Show will also feature lifestyle experiences beyond the marina, including watch and jewellery exhibitions, fine dining, luxury cars, golf and diving. The event will highlight ongoing investment in the Red Sea coastal region, including more than US$22.4 billion in projects, expanding maritime infrastructure and the extension of the region鈥檚 winter cruising season.

The partnership also seeks to connect Monaco鈥檚 established yacht market with emerging opportunities along the Red Sea as Mediterranean fleets transition to winter cruising routes.
