During the visit, Ambassador Nine was introduced to Greenphyto’s state-of-the-art farming system, which integrates artificial intelligence, robotics and automation to cultivate leafy vegetables in a fully controlled indoor environment. Standing 23.3 metres tall, the facility has been recognised as the world’s tallest indoor vertical farm and is capable of producing up to 2,000 tonnes of vegetables annually at full capacity, while using land and resources far more efficiently than conventional farming methods.

Founder Susan Chong shared Greenphyto’s vision of developing climate-independent farming solutions that can support food resilience in land-scarce nations. The company’s proprietary hydroponic technology enables year-round production regardless of weather conditions, while its AI-driven systems continuously monitor crop health, optimise growing conditions and improve operational efficiency. Beyond producing fresh vegetables, Greenphyto also aims to export its farming technologies and digital solutions to international markets.
