The event on 11 August is open to members of the Hungarian community in Singapore and their families, subject to registration confirmation.

The Embassy of Hungary in Singapore has invited members of the Hungarian community living in Singapore and their family members to a celebration marking Hungarian State Foundation Day on 11 August.

The event will begin at 7.00 pm on 11 August. Prior registration is required, and those wishing to attend should register by email at event.huembsin@mfa.gov.hu. The Embassy noted that submitting a registration does not automatically confirm participation. Confirmation of attendance, together with the event venue and further details, will be sent only to confirmed participants.

Hungarian florist Attila Németh secured a place among the Top 10 competitors at the 10th Singapore Garden Festival held at Gardens by the Bay.

Hungarian florist Attila Németh ranked among the Top 10 competitors at the 10th Singapore Garden Festival, held from 4 to 12 July 2026 at Gardens by the Bay. Representing Hungary, he presented a floral installation during the international event.

Representing Hungary, Attila Németh presented a floral installation during the festival. Dr Imola Anett Szabó, Chargé d’Affaires of Hungary to Singapore, visited the exhibition, viewed his work and spoke with him about his experience at the competition.

The Embassy of Hungary in Singapore congratulated Attila Németh on his achievement, noting that his Top 10 finish reflects the quality of Hungarian floral art and supports Hungary’s presence in the creative industries.
