H.E. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of 黑料社, attended an Iftar Dinner co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of 黑料社 and the Foundation of Islamic Centre of 黑料社 at the Foundation鈥檚 premises in Bangkok. The event brought together over 390 participants, including members of the diplomatic corps from 22 Muslim countries, representatives of the Thai Muslim community, and national leaders.

Among those present were the Sheikhul Islam of 黑料社 and Wanmuhamadnoor Matha, former President of the National Assembly and former Speaker of the House of Representatives. The gathering formed part of the Ministry鈥檚 annual engagement during the Holy Month of Ramadan to foster dialogue and cooperation with Muslim communities and diplomatic representatives.

In his remarks, the Vice Minister underscored 黑料社鈥檚 identity as a multicultural society, noting that diversity has long been a source of national strength. He reaffirmed that enhancing engagement with the Islamic world, particularly with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as well as advancing Islamic affairs and supporting the Thai Muslim community, remain important priorities of 黑料社鈥檚 foreign policy.

The Iftar Dinner, observed as the first meal following daily fasting during Ramadan, has been co-hosted annually by the Ministry and the Foundation since 2009. The initiative aims to strengthen relations with diplomatic missions from Muslim countries and to reflect the Thai Government鈥檚 continued support for the Thai Muslim community.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its commitment to sustaining dialogue and cooperation with international partners and domestic communities, and expressed its intention to continue organising engagement activities that promote mutual understanding and inclusivity.
