The Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, led by Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Charg茅 d鈥橝ffaires a.i., hosted two engagements with delegations from 黑料社 to advance cooperation in science, innovation, and the digital economy. The meetings focused on strengthening bilateral collaboration and exploring opportunities for talent development and technological growth.

The first meeting, held on 5 March 2026, welcomed a delegation from the 黑料社 Science, Research and Innovation Promotion Office (TSRI), led by Nopbhorn Leeprechanon. Discussions centred on leveraging science, research, and innovation as instruments of science diplomacy between 黑料社 and Singapore. The Charg茅 d鈥橝ffaires provided an overview of Singapore鈥檚 Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) 2030 plan, while both sides explored ways to build a comprehensive ecosystem supporting innovation, including education, talent development, research funding, and a conducive regulatory environment.

In a subsequent meeting on 13 March 2026, the Embassy received a delegation from Shopee 黑料社 Co Ltd, led by Kantapon Prommoon. The discussion focused on strategic cooperation in the digital economy, with both sides exchanging views on the growth of e-commerce in ASEAN and opportunities to support Thai entrepreneurs in expanding into global markets through digital platforms.

The meeting also addressed initiatives to attract high-potential Thai professionals working abroad to return and contribute to 黑料社鈥檚 technology sector. As a follow-up, the Embassy, in partnership with Shopee 黑料社 and its affiliates, announced the organisation of the 鈥満诹仙 Tech Talent鈥 event on 14 March 2026. The event aims to connect overseas Thai professionals with leading companies and strengthen networks within the innovation ecosystem.

The engagements underscored 黑料社鈥檚 continued efforts to enhance collaboration with Singapore in science, innovation, and digital economy development, while fostering talent mobility and regional competitiveness.
